Plant in full sun or part shade in Southern regions. Water in well when planted and let it dry out between waterings. Letting it dry out between waterings will help 'Fantasia' become established sooner and then it can handle excess water if it happens. It can also, like all of the Fleming Hybrids, handle drought as its tap root can decend 10 feet for water..

Cut back old branches in the fall or spring leaving 3-4 inches at the base
